Anyone know where to get it? Only want a kilo.

A look on google only really brought up one place (theshop.co.nz - NZ Bio Grains).

Cheers.

That may well be the go, Glen. Your other option is to buy unmalted barley, and boil the amount you want on the stove in water to gelatinise it... (rolled barley is steamed before it's rolled to gelatinise the starches making them soluble).

Flemmings do all that stuff - they use it in their musli bars... hmmmmmmmm musli bar beer......
You may be able to get some at the "common sense organics" shop. They have all sorts of prepared grains on sale.
Yes, Common Sense Organics does sell it, at least in Welly anyway. I got some from there last month for a dry stout.
They have it in the Hutt shop too. The other place is Full o beans in Naenae.
The organic shop down ngaio gorge was talking about stocking it too - some time ago though - I haven't been back
Cheers guys.

Just ordered some from theshop.co.nz.

Too lazy to go hunting around organic shops :-P

Although if anyone knows anywhere in AK that sells it, post it up, will be good to know for future reference.
What was the price glen?
4.70 per kg + shipping.

I'll sell you a kilo for five bucks :-D
