Hi there
Does anyone know where I can get a good range of Belgian beers in Auckland? Is there a good shop around?

I'm looking for a Belgian Saison in particular.

Thanks!

or call Regional Wines and Spirits in Wellington (they usually have two or three Saisons).
Great, thanks!
Galbraiths usually has Saison Dupont in the bottle fridge. Yummy.

And my house has my own Saison du Diable in the fridge. Double yummy!
Sorry, you're not allowed Saison in New Zealand. DB says so.
Our Fresh Hop Saison will be on next week:

Hallertau Fresh Hop Saison 5.3%
Saison is a Belgian Farmhouse Ale, famous for its funky, thirst-quenching character. Our version is hopped with four kilograms of fresh hops grown at the brewery to give it some local funk. It pours a hazy deep gold with a spicy citrus and bubblegum aroma. This beer glides across the palate, light and fresh with a soft earthy creaminess and refreshing, slightly sour dryness in the finish.

Did the phenolics calm down like you wanted Steve? Was a tasty beer when I tried it!
It turned out nice, plenty of bubblegum on the nose and its dried right out.
Nice, gotta love that bubblegum character!
Excellent - I should be out there one evening in the next week or two to drop off SOBA newsletters. I love a good Saison (tm). :-)
Ah, thank you! I'll try to get out there soon.
that will be $200 thanks Steve, for the ad placement
Can I pay you in Saison?
