Peter Smith replied to Ian's discussion 20L Braumeister
"The BM's have a lower Eff then the Grainfather, not an issue if you use Beersmith and adjust recipes to EFF you get.   I tend to recirculate full volume with the BM50 while doing a 20pipe brew for a few reasons, mainly less bed…"

Ian replied to Thies's discussion fermentation temperature control
"I see a bit of a revival of this thread. Further to my replies above, I have now used my set-up for some time. It is the old fridge, an Inkbird controller and an SS fermentor with a thermowell for the probe. It has proven absolutely splendid and I…"

Ian replied to Ian's discussion Belgian strong golden
"Me too - I never bothered with cold crashing or gelatine previously, yet now I routinely do both. It was a bit counter-intuitive opening the fermentor, but I have got used to it now. The only conundrum that I have found little definitive information…"

Sorry been in ridiculously boring meetings all morning! :0(
A six pack of Hofbrau Maibock would be exceptional if you can manage it or if they don't have 6 as many bottles as they have please :0) I can send you money to post them and reimburse you for the beer or i can send money after or whatever you want?
Thank you very much!!!!
