Drink it fresh.
It has 15 hops per bottle.
It comes in boxes of 24 (which I'd call a slab, if I was from the Western Island).
Not sure if you can buy it retail in that pack but you'd be looking at around $60-$70, if you could.

Malted barley sugars, I reckon. Not sugar sugar.
Thanks for the information out of a lot of beers im coming back to this beer as one of my Favorites
Yeh, it's solid Ryan. At it's worst, it is a lot better than the average "premium" beer (rates a solid 4/5 in the appearance department too).

I see you're from Auckland. Have you tried Galbraith's and/or Hallertau? Very nice beers at both of those places. Galbraith's are classics and Halertau are a little more off-centre.
Yes Auckland haven't tryed the above, went to Irish bar and some yucky Kilkenny ouch! But as long Epic pale Ale can be stored? that would be great
As it ages the hop character will diminish. This beer is a showcase for American Cascade hops, why would you want to diminish that?
Buy it from an outlet that turns it over (sells it in volume) and drink it fresh.

How long are you thinking of storing it for anyway?
Well i want a beer where i can leave it there for up to a year and become something special! not sure what! maybe that coopers
If you want something special that improves with age try a Pink Elephant - Imperial Rushin Stowt - awesome. (I got mine from Regional Wine in Welly) or:

If that's what you want, Epic isn't that beer. The coopers vintage thingyme would be a better bet.
I'd go with something special and high gravity (alcohol) and probably bottle conditioned.
Emersons Taieri George, Pink Elephant Rushin Imperial Stowt, Thomas Hardy's ale... something along those lines.
Have a good look around ratebeer at barley wines, russian imperial stouts, baltic porters, old/strong ales and see if you can get your hands on something special.
Richee, snap!
It's well, Epic....

It never lasts long enough to age in the Mainland....
I reckon the new beer from green man would be the go, if you can shell out the $36 for it. its 14.5% i think from memory. Cant remember the name of it at the mo but i am sure someone else has seen it by now
Enrico's cure
