Changes At Tuatara

Wellington’s own Tuatara has been brewing craft beer in the hills behind Waikanae since 2002. Brewing was originally the sole responsibility of founder Carl Vasta with his wife Simone taking care of the many other jobs involved in running a small business. Several years ago Dion Paige joined the company as a brewer having returned from his O.E. in Ireland where he had been brewing at Cork’s St Franciscan Well brewery. After several years of working brewers hours Dion has decided to take a break to spend time with his young family and Tuatara has employed the award winning homebrewer and Regional regular Michael Neilson to replace him.

Regional would like to extend our congratulations to both Michael and Dion on their new ventures.

You mean we are not adding a pork chop?

Where is the sense of adventure...not to mention the nutritional value.
I'm not adding anything more exotic than hops
That's absolutely fabulous! Congratulations Mike!
Brilliant Mike, I'm so jealous.
Well done Mike, great to see another home brewer going pro and making a living from something we do for fun! Look forward to seeing what weird new shit starts coming out of the brewery doors.
Brilliant Mike, well done. And so the adventure begins. I'm sure you'll never look back, I just hope you'll still speak to us mere mortals who do it in the shed ;-)
Great news Mike. Congratulations!
Congratulations Mike!

I imagine a lot of folks here (myself included) will be living their dreams vicariously through you.
Congrats Mike! All the best mate.
Awesome news for you both...
I was just going to buy some Tuatara IPA too. I guess I'll wait for the Imperial version. On ya, Mike.
