I got a batch of larger caps from brewers coop and have been using them on green champagne bottles - have to be careful with skunking tho - had a few lagers come out smelling just like Steinlager haha...

I find the larger caps are a little flimsier - easy to get them on but you want to be careful about knocking them too hard if you store them upside down for riddling.

the easiest I found was to go to the supermarket and buy a couple of cheap bottles of sparkling wine($5-7ea) , drink them or pour them and use those

In Auckland we have some Belgium beer / mussel bars, they have a lot of thicker walled bottles at the end of every shift....
