My solution was 2 compression fittings from blackwoods Paykels

with a standard 1/2" tap fitting screwed on. Then just the standard nylex fittings on the garden hose. This didn't involve any soldering, just a couple of spanners and some thread tape. Works like a dream, 100 to 25deg C in 7mins

Looks a good solution. Go for it :-)
Sorry the part number is CONNECTOR MALE BR 680808 1/2TX1/2" (Each) Code: 02904104

Nate, it's real simple, just push the nut over the pipe. Then thread the olive on. The slide the fitting on as far as it will go. Push the olive up to the fitting and then start tightening the nut onto the fitting. That's all. The olive compresses inside the nut onto the copper pipe. The 12.7 OD copper pipe is refrigeration piping and these fittings are for that. After that, just put some thread tape onto the outer thread and screw the brass or plastic 1/2 hose fitting on. Pretty simple.

Took me ages to locate the right fittings and part numbers now you can benefit from that. Good luck

Someone may get away with a decent deal on this brewery...

Hey put a bid in Michael, pick it up when you come back

I would love to. However, I almost have everything there apart from the mill and the pump.

It looks like his hot liquor tank is electric. That is nice. I wish I had an electric hot liquor tank.

Darn it. If the US exchange didn't suck so much right now, I would consider.

That would be perfect for Miami! Although, my IC is working fairly good now that I pump ice water through it.

3 vessel system with pump and mill anyone?

If anyone is looking for a FridgeMate Temp Control

Kettles

I just ordered a 71L kettle off of these folks... will report back when it arrives with more info.

They have 71L and 100L readily available... prices are a little over $100 for a stainless steel kettle.
