I wish. Irony of ironies, my xmas party is booked for a DB pub! Guess I'll be drinking a lot of wine. :(
Not that I'm boycotting Monteith's now, it's just that it tastes abominable. :)

I also wish - Get this, ASB contact centre is so naff they dont even supply booze, instead they book us into a poncy hotel that charges extremely high prices for drinks, and they wonder why I smuggle my own in ;o)

I'm sorting the drinks for our xmas party, and choose a liquor store that stock craft beer. So while the massess drink the swill, I have booked myself a range from Emersons to Three Boys.... nice!

Last time I was allowed to organise drinks for the work christmas party I bought in Coopers Sparkling Ale (natch) and Epic. There was a riot, deputations were sent out for Tui and my beer buying reposibilities were removed indefinitely. The sight of an Epic being tipped out on the lawn almost brought a tear to me eye. I think we're at Gladstone Vineyard this year, probably a good thing given the alternatives.

James P - Yeah, the owner (I assume) is pretty supportive of the craft beers. Probably the only place around that still has Smokin' Bishop too! They'd just gotten in a new batch of 3 Boys when I was there last friday, mmm, fresh as.
