paint.net is free. thats what I use, tho my labels are fairly shabby compared to some efforts I've seen.

You coul use this to design them and then copy into something else for printing (word , paint, etc)

Just creating mine and they will be somewhat understated.

That is to say, I haven't got time to do anything flash so they'll just have the name of the beer on!

Good move Mike. I thought his beer was the best, maybe the label helped.
