Steam Brewing Tour
Shane Morley's been in touch with me in regards to a tour of Steam Brewing, awesome!
Hes offered to take us around and show us what its all about, as well as answer any questions.. well get to see how the Cock n Bull beers, and of course, Epic, is made, and well also get to see the packaging line!! Then we will hopefully be lucky enough to sample some of the beers conditioning... Yum :o)
Date is most probably going to be the 18th of April, and were only able to have a max of about 20 people so first in first serve...

yeah I'd be keen. sounds great.
There might be a conflict with the official April SOBA meeting, but I can't see any reason we can't do both.
SOBA has toured steam before but I personally missed out - a mistake I won't be making twice :)

SOBA is the weekend before at Galbraiths, but as you said, no reason we cant do both :o)

I don't believe we've ever had a SOBA visit to Steam. We had a meeting with Shane at the Cock & Bull, but we've never actually been to the brewery.
I'll consider making this the 'official' SOBA April meeting. I'd slotted Galbraiths in there as it's in the Easter holidays and I thought people might be away, so it was meant to be a low-key meeting.

Yeah, I'm definitely keen. but need to check if I've been roped into coaching Junior Rugby again and whether the season has commenced by then. Cheers Craig.

Here I was already to go to my first Soba meeting at Gailbraiths and then we change the date.
I'll be off to Wellington on the 18th to get married.
Have a great tour, wish I could go but other more important stuff :)
Will definitly make the next meeting :)
