Personally, I'd biff it and go buy a fresh can. I reckon old malt in a liquid form is the main cause of what I call the good-old home-brew twang. I'm sure the malt won't be off, but oxidisation is reportedly accelerated in a liquid form. 6-8 years i…
Hi Craig, how did you figure out where to drill holes safely? (I have been modding my freezer over the weekend in a different manner, and now have warm beer as a result.)
Am selling my old Beer Chiller / Kegerator if anyone is keen. Is in very good condition.
Is an awesome unit that has served me very well. Is ready to plug in and go. Can transport to Auckland this weekend if anyone is interested. Just let me know…
Hey man I would be keen for a couple of smoothcone rhizomes, could reimburse any costs or send you a couple of bottles of Gisborne home Gevurtz if you were keen
Hey Craig thanks for the vials they turned up today. I think they will be excellent for slanting, and will even try a couple for freezing.
Not sure how much of a small world it is, I went to Pyes Pa School, and lived on Merrick's Road about 30 years ago! I'll dig out a stout I entered in the case swap and get it up to you.
Cheers, James
I would hope you never get a gusher, and would expect that to never happen.
I introduced the 500ml bottle for people to be able to try just one bottle, with out having to part with $18-$20 for a six pack.
Also the 500ml is for supermarkets/outlets that just don't understand that craft beer cost more to make and therefore cost more to sell. I had a friend who was purchasing a six pack, and the checkout person called for a price check because they personally thought there was an error for a six pack of beer to be priced at $19.99
Some times the retailer can be a barrier for beer lovers to get access to the beers they want to buy.
