Was wondering if anyone has opinions on this product.
Im planning an extract/steeping ESB and thought instead of my standard 'Black Rock Light', id give this a go. Its says on the website that its made from "a blend of pale and crystal malts", I like the idea of using a british pale malt extract but im not to sure about the 'crystal' in in. Would i be better to just use the 'light' and specialty grains?
Cheers

Yes you would for sure!!! The amber and dark stuff has some unfermentables in it which you may as well get from crystal grains for better flavour...

My 2 cents
Agree. 4 cents. Still rounded down to 0c, so we need another two cents.
2c
thanks for the 6c.
Will go for the 'light' option and make up the 'maltiness' by steeping crystal and maybe some aromatic .
Yeah, make that 8c :-P

I don't trust those amber/dark ME's, they don't really give you any idea of what's in them.
