"consumers were no longer pouring beer into a glass before drinking which is what releases the beer's flavour and aroma"

Arent they?? Hmm, ok then DB - I can't remember the last time I drunk beer out of a bottle, but ill let you stick with your stupid assumption and continue to never buy your beer...

ahhhh so that's why I wasn't getting any flavour or aroma from my tui.

"bogun consumers looking to get pissed as quickly as possible on cheap tasteless vomit inducing bile were no longer pouring beer into a glass before drinking which is what releases the beer's flavour and aroma"

Make more sense now I fixed it?

Ohhhh dont knock the bogans bro theres plenty of us who drink the finest of craft beers too!
Agreed! My mullet is quite healthy!
lol i was taking the piss mate, i'm definitely more bogan than ... whatever the opposite is
I have to say guys, some people do some great work on here with beer appreciation and talking sense about good beer. Comments like these just put new-comers off. You might not like the beer, but comments like this do not convert anyone. If you focus on the good the bad will die off on its own.

"Comments like these just put new-comers off."

People should be guided by their palate, not by what they read!!

Exactly, but any publicity is good publicity, I think the Double-Down has just proved that.

The only person who drinks DB and reads these forums would be the DB media troll.

i dunno, if someone who drinks one of the mega brews on a regular basis and is thinking of trying/brewing different beers comes looking for info and stumbles across comments that come across as elitist/beer snobbish then i think it puts them off asking questions.

i've seen newcomers to this forum leave after a very short while through negative comments about their beer choice,

most of my mates are speights drinkers,i mentioned this in one thread and one comment suggested finding new mates!

it doesn't really give a welcoming vibe does it?

I know we're all highly intelligent craft beer aficionados but that doesn't excuse realbeer.co.nz from the standard online hobby forum trajectory.
