If it doesn't need to be full sized maybe look for an EEEpc by Asus.

I had a 7" one running their version of Linux and beersmith ran fine under wine.

If you wanted to spend a bit more you could get a 9 or 10" one running XP.

cheers for the replies fellas, there looks to be some good deals on graysonline, i'll keep an eye on those to see what price they get to.

glen,how do you find linux?iv'e never used it but i've seen those,or something similar in dick smith
