Do you use the whole vial per brew?

I did see some test kits but they are only overseas, I would advise before using them to check with Coeliac NZ which kit they recommend as the levels tested safe overseas aren't as stringent as the AUS/NZ ones and they may test safe but cause your friend a whole load of pain

Yeah I used 2 each as they both 42L batches...

Sounds promising with all saving there beers tested GF on tests....   and most saying they cant taste a difference

I work with him and on reading about the stuff decided to do most brews this way for a while as its probably good for me as well.  Will make sure next case swap beer is GF

WilliamsWarn put out a clarifier that sounds similar to Clarity Ferm. It reduces the gluten content to the extent that technically the beer can be called gluten-free. Here's a link:

You can buy it at Brewers Coop or WilliamsWarn $25/500ml which maybe less than Clarity Ferm. However it does get added after cold crashing not prior to fermentation. Not having celiac disease I have no idea whether the beer I make is gluten-free on a practical level but I haven't noticed any difference in taste using the product. I need a Celiac guinea pig to conduct tests on! For a 45l brew I add 50ml of the clarifier.

Sorry that should have been $25 for a litre of clarifier not 500ml!
