Hi guys,

I am in the process of looking at improving yeast health by aerating/oxygenating the wort prior to pitching.

My first option, due to the small amount of oxy required, is to buy a desposible oxy tank (110L) and reg for $130 from www.ezitools.co.nz.

However these don't have a flow meter, and seems I will need to source this from e-bay.

Can you guys maybe give some pointers prior to me buying anything?

I use one of these with a 2 micron stone. I don't have a flow meter, I just set my timer for 90 seconds, drop the stone in and set it to a gentle "rolling boil". Seems to do the trick, lasts about 15 brews so its not the cheapest option. It would be pretty interesting to borrow a dissolved oxygen meter from somewhere and see where its at.

Great thanks for the feedback, 15 brews seems ok for a $65 bottle. Have you noticed any improvement in your beer?

I have a brand new bottle and reg I am looking to sell PM me.
