For the second time I have seen a brown dot appear on the top of my dry hop head. I am guessing it might be either a bit of twig leaching colour or some oxidised hops. The fear is that it is something nasty. Last time I gave the fermenter a gentle shake to submerse it. A good or bad idea? Anyone had experience with this?

Is it the oils from the hops?

I'm just about to dry hop, will let you know if I get the same thing

If it was a red dot I'd check you don't have a married indian woman in there :)

Could be one or the other. Haaa, well it is an IPA and so was the last one.

Thats really putting the Indian in IPA haha
