Ricky, if you read Toots blog it says that he can mill 2kg in 15 mins, so a wee bit quicker than yours... But last I saw he had it hooked up to a motor that runs off a car battery haha..

In saying that, a Monster Mill isnt too expensive, my one set me back $160 which I figured was pretty reasonable!

Encouraged with your vid and the homebrewtalk thread I modified a pasta roller for a grain mill too. Cheers.

I've done 6 brews with it now and am happy with the crush but am getting a little annoyed at how long it takes me to mill (1 hr-ish for 5ish Kg)

I gnarled up the rollers with a drill bit (as suggested somewhere in that homebrewtalk thread)

In all I read there (as much as I could bear) I didn't read anything about how long it takes.

How long does it take you to mill for a brew?

Wondering if I need to rough them up some more, just stop whining or get a new crusher.

Cheers
