It's a race against time for me. Late to brew this one, just checked at 10 days in and it's down to 1.012, reckon it's done so crash chilling now to 1c. Transfer it to the keg on Thursday evening, force carb overnight, fill a bottle Saturday before I head over. Can it be done?! Mike I'm sure you've forced carbed a few beers in your time? What's the deal, crank it up and leave over night or crank and shake then let it settle out disconnected?

Yeah the beer I brewed for Steph that won, was brewed 2 weeks before with a 6 day dryhop, and it was crystal clear, cool to between 0-4 degrees add 1 1/2 tsp of gelatine to pre boiled and chilled to 80 degrees, stir to dissolve and add to fermenter let it sit for 2 days than rack to keg, shake and bake, 300 kpa for 50 secs on the product out side shaking while you do it, let it sit for a hour than vent to serving pressure and pour yourself a coldie, it will still be a little hazy but it will drop out over the next day or to.

 

WTF I shouldnt be telling you this till Sunday!! Also it reminds me I should be doing this to my Mild Ale now opps

Hell Yeah!! More the better its $10 to enter and you will get good feedback on your beer by people who a obbseced with beer, and the best part is if your beer wins to take all the money!! Also you dont have to enter to join in, its a good chance to meet like minded people and chat about the intresting things in life, BEER.
