Columbus 14.2% 22 IBU @ 60
Centennial 9.2% 7 IBU @ 30
Nelson Sauvin 11.4% 9 IBU @ 30
Centennial 9.2% 7 IBU @ 10
Nelson Sauvin 11.4% 5 IBU @ 10
Centennial 9.2% 1.5 g/L @ 0
Fermented with US-05
OG 1.050
FG 1.012
5.7%ABV, 50 IBU
Bottled from keg so no need to decant from the lees. My advice is to drink this one early in the order before the hops fade...

Unfortunately the hops decided to fade out in the week of the case swap :(
I had my last bottle a couple of weeks ago and it was still very drinkable, just not what I had intended...

I think youve mis understood me - I found the bottle I had this week hoppier than the one I had a month or so ago!! Which is what was so wierd!

Yeah like I say maybe my palate was doing something funny, but it defo seemed alot more pungent, citrusy and all round hoppy!! I really enjoyed it :o)

It is weird but not unsurprising for hoppy dark beers, I've mentioned it on here a number of times that PKB is at its best around the 3-6 month mark... before then the hop/roast mix is there but more abbrasive. As the dark malt mellows and the hops really seem to shine through. Unfortunately the bottled stuff is not getting that old these days, so we are trying to work out ways to get over that hump. Holding it back is not logistically possible as this stage but I'd love to see it leaving the brewery at about 6-8 weeks old.

I guess we could store them in your garage??? For a nominal fee, of course ;-)
Two problems at the moment... brewlength and storage. We'd have to work out a different price as well, as we'd be paying rent on top of the current costs.
