I am flying to WGTN wanted to take a few bottles to a friend, arrive at 6pm,  how many hours standing upright in cold fridge for yeast in bottles  to resettle?

I don't know, but I can tell you what I have done in the past, and that is I have decanted several bottles into a 2 litre plastic bottle then transported it yeast free. As long as you fill the bottle enough so that it is frothing over you can be sure that there is no air in there. Done this way, the beer has still been good after three days.

cunning idea....

If you decant bottle to bottle, getting the bottles close to freezing (but no ice) helps keep the foaming under control and gives you the best chance of minimizing CO2 loss....it's also really helpful to freeze empty recipient bottles as well...good luck!
