Event Description

AKL Home Brew Tasting event at No.1 Queen St Cafe & Bar -  6pm Thursday the 21st August.
Our hosts have offered to put on some free food and host the first tasting for no charge.   (Going forward I think its only fair to pay a few $ for the hosting and food, but for the first one its FREE)
Also they have a fantastic Home Brew beer swap fridge idea going on,  but its not so well known about.  Basically they have a home brew fridge where you put in 2 of your bottles and take a mixed 2 back out.   I think this is a bloody good idea, they just need a decent stock of beer to get them started.  Its also FREE to join and use the fridge.
To support them, given the food and hosting above, if everyone could bring 2 bottles to donate to the fridge (and another 2 if you want to go home with something to try)  this would get a decent base stock in the fridge.
I will post a photo of the home brew fridge up soon, its a great idea.  All they ask is you post up your recipe, reviews  on their facebook page.  I can see this thing really taking off.
Re the tasting bring a max 2 x 750ml bottles, feel free to bring less or just come along as well, BUT please RSVP on here so we have some idea of the numbers.
