Hi

I bought this from allgrain.co.nz http://allgrain.co.nz/product_info.php?cPath=14_16&products_id=... but when it arrived it was slightly different:

And now it's proved a little tricky to get it solidly fitted onto my chilly bin. Here are some photos:

The main problem is that it's very wobbly... i.e. when I try to turn the tap the whole things moves from side to side—the plastic chilly bin isn't the most solid. This doesn't seem right... Does anyone have any advice, tips? Or have experienced a similar issue?

Thnks!

I'd say give Karl at Allgrain a bell and see if you can work out a solution with him.

He's a good bloke, has a whole range of stainless fittings and, going by my experiences dealing with him, I'm sure he'll be happy to work out a way to get your rig working.

Hi Darren. As per my earlier email, no problem swapping this out for the earlier design. The reason the design was changed was because a few people were unable to fully close the ball valve as their spigot hole was recessed into the wall of the chilly bin. I suspect you would also benefit from replacing the outer silicone o-ring with a large washer - this will provide a bit of extra structural rigidity. Cheers

Thanks for the reply; both here and via email.
