Finally managed to get the tap running at the office bar just in time for Friday drinks. Inaugural brew was Renaissance Discovery. 30 liters emptied in 1 hour 9 minutes. Once I get a chance to start brewing again, will have some homebrew on tap as well.

Thanks, it is awesome if I do say so myself (though the line isn't balanced properly so we were getting a bit of foam, thus using the pitcher). We combined Friday drinks with my small team and our sister company, Catalyst IT's much bigger team. Emptied the 30 liter keg in 69 minutes - may have to move to 50s.

Reviled, if you know anything about Open Source, Catalyst are always looking!

Interesting that Flying Dog are trying to hop on the open source beer bandwagon. Haven't had much of a chance to read the site (other than some smart marketing to geeks that rule the social network waves), but seems very similar to http://www.freebeer.org.

"hop on the open source beer bandwagon" - pun intended?

I got a call about being a part of the FreeBeer project about 18 months ago... the timing was just too tight, otherwise I would have loved to have been involved. It was being run by Annie Bradley at Artspace in Auckland. I forgot about it until last night when I was tidying up some old folders on my computer and spotted the FREE BEER flyer - really interesting that you guys posted this today and to see that it went ahead with a homebrewer and Steam Brewing.

How easy is it to get Guaraná berries? That's my one issue with the FreeBeer recipe I think. You might as well just chuck in a couple of cans of Red Bull....

Or 7 shots of strong espresso...
