SOBA Auckland event - Steam Brewery tour
It's been a while since an organised SOBA event in Auckland but hopefully this will get your interest - Shane Morley and the fine crew at Steam Brewing Company have invited us for a brewery tour and tasting on Saturday 31st July. Those who came along on the last trip there will remember what a great time we had, with Shane's informative commentary and the interesting beers we tasted. This time Shane reckons that he'll be able to share a few samples from the beers that they'll be sending to the BrewNZ awards in Wellington in August.
Steam Brewing is based in Otahuhu and brews the beers for the Cock & Bull pubs, as well as the Epic beers and a couple of others. You'll need to arrange your own transport but last time we managed to do some carpooling. We'll be kicking off the tour at 12 noon.
