Some people in my household think it's unreasonable for me to be running 3 fridges and a chest freezer in the garage, so I'm having to part with one of my beauties.

It's an old Kelvenator, currently with two taps through the door. Fits 4 kegs (2 on the floor, two on the hump) with plenty of space, but isn't quite tall enough to get an extra two kegs stacked on top. Shelves in the door hold a fair few 750 bottles so you can keep them out of your food fridge. I've sliced a narrow chunk out of the seal in the corner at the top so the gas line can come in without making the seal a problem. On the warmest setting you can maybe just get away without using a controller, but it's certainly nicer (to my tastes anyway) if you get a cheapy controller and get it sitting at about 10C. It's more like 7C without the controller and set to warm. Before it was mollested into a keg fridge, I'd used it to hold 2 fermenters - I still have the shelves somewhere I think so the buyer would be welcome to take them

Probably wanting about 135 for the fridge +  the 2 taps (which are the ones Dispense sells), as that's about what it cost me to set it up. I could probably supply 1 or 2 more taps for a bit extra if desired, I've got plenty lying around at the moment. Cheaper way to get started in kegging than a chest freezer, for sure.

Folks are welcome to come round for a beer to check it out if you're interested, I'm in Ellerslie, although the realestate agent insists it's Remuera.

I know, right? I've got 16 taps at the moment, surely I need capacity for 16 kegs? Some people just can't grasp the bigger picture :)

Hi there,

Has this been sold yet? Could be interested, any chance you have pics?
