how long should a co2 bottle last

I can leave my kegs for days and still good pressure in them when all is ok....    I would charge up the keg asap and disconnect the gas in AND BEER OUT SIDE ,   if it holds pressure then its your lines or regs or connect point,  if it looses pressure is keg/lid/posts/oring..

All I want to do is drink my new beer

I hear you,  I still like bottling beer.....    IMHO it takes about 7-10 days before my keg beer pours fully carbed like a good bottled beer...

Fill up your bath tub… dump the whole rig in there (aside form the reg that is) and find out where the bubbles are coming from.

I have had my actual bottle leak around the valve connection before, if you keep the bottle in the fridge and occasionally take it out for a few days the metal can contract and expand… Ive had to have the guys at pressure check pull it apart clean off the threads and tighten it up a bit

Thanks guys, hopefully I'll still have gas when I get home, if theres a leak. 

I'll see what its like when I get home, if it ok then no worries, if not I'll disconnect and see if my lines hold pressure if its all good i'll pressurise the keg and dump in a bath of water to confirm.

If I do have another leak, that'll be threee before even pouring a beer....about ready to throw things.

This seem to have taken a turn for the worse.
If I vent the keg and then re- pressurise with 28psi. When I disconnect the lines should those lines hold pressure or will they drop to 0 after about 2 hour. ??? Not connected to keg just from bottle through reg then manifold and coupler. No detectable leaks.

they should hold for quite some time., forever if they have live tank pressure... I have tap points under regs I turn off if the line isn't charging a keg I will post photos in am....  I wonder if its your low side of the reg or reg itself...

suggest you open a cold bottled beer and give up for today.... RDWHAHB

my co2 setup

I leave bottle on all time unless no kegs attached...  turn the connects off if disconnected if I remember 90% time....     so far all my issues have been down at the corny connect / post end....   but note this stuff is all locked in place no movement is possible.

Looks good peter, Found 2 additional leak from the manifold, and I've played around etc. Its now holding 1-psi. so the leak seem to be sorted, which is good,
