Just been chatting in another discussion about cider....wondering if anyone has any good cider recipes!??!?

any particular yeasts to use?? sugar? apples? anything else??

From what I've done so far I'd go US05 or Champagne yeast.

Left over yeast from a kit should be fine though.
Now THAT's doing it properly! :)

I have read that US05 dry yeast is better for making apple cider??? need a good solid easy recipe to follow please?

and that Mangrove Jacks has a good cider yeast too... are most people is agreement that it takes a long time to ferment and clear before bottling?
