Beervana ticket sales break the 1000 mark!
As of yesterday, sales have exceeded 1000! This is way ahead of the game as compared to last year- It's gonna be a goody!

Hey Guys,
Just checking with Cyndi, but I think that it is the same as last year with no multi session passes.
There are door sales- the Ticketek booth is just by the front door and will be open 9am till 8pm on both days.
Multi Session tickets not tied to a specific session probably wouldnt fly - we are limited by council to fire limits for each session and some are going to be busier than others.
The only discount structure in place is for groups of 10+ who get a 20% discount.
I will let you guys know about multi passes as soon as I hear back.

yeh, as appealing as it is, i'm not sure that'd work well either.
could do friday, saturday or both day passes though.

Yeah, that'd be close enough to awesome. Good news on the door sales though. We've (group of four) bought tickets to both afternoon sessions on the basis that if they're pumping we'll get door sales to the next ones. Glad to hear our cunning plan will work! ;)

Agree with Colin's thoughts on Invercargill and Three Boys.
Ask Emerson's if they have anything special... hopefully they'll bring up some of their old Brewer's Reserve beers (watch this space on that note... I've got a half-drafted piece on a recent tasting).
Mussel Inn, which are very hard to track down usually.
Townshend, real ale. Fantastic little brewery making beers quite unlike anyone else in New Zealand.

I'll third the Invercargill and Three Boys stuff. Just amazing lately. Stu is being uncharacteristically modest in not pimping Yeastie Boys too - I believe there will be something special there, no?
Mussel Inn was a serious highlight for me last year. Townshend beers are fantastic too - as Stu says. Just simple, authentic ales. Can't get enough.
In the "publicity stunts which will also taste great" department, don't forget Luke will be tapping his Epic Voyage Armageddon - hopefully there'll be enough for us to get a taste, as while original IPAs were shipped in pitch lined casks, and so wouldn't have been oaked at all, I LOVE a good oaky beer, and this should end up seriously oaky. I fear for the oxidation levels though! ;)
Anyway, sorry for rambling. I'm excited. :)

His Majesty: our to-be-bottled "anniversary" IPA (6.4%, hopped at 12g/L to about 75ibu)
Plan K: our new keg Belgian Pale (4.6%)
PKB: we held back two kegs.

Invercargill visitors are getting advanced samples.
Glad I gave some Yeastie love out to a few Wellington locals before Ratebeer tourists got to it! Sam's not even tried it yet, but seeing he was at GBBF last week he probably doesn't deserve it.

What about some of the Aussie craft beers - you just can't get them in NZ which makes them worth a try.
