Well, I'm moving to Wellington in December and will be looking for work.
I thought about being a beer sommelier, a point of difference for any cool resturant to be able to match beer with food, and get paid for it :)
Does anyone know if there are any local courses, I have foud one online, but very US orientated.

Also are there going to BJCP exams in New Zealand any time soon, if not, what does one need to do to get that under way?

Thanks heaps

Chris

I know it's not local but Ray Daniels is running some courses that would be right down your alley:

I've heard him say that reaching the full certification would take almost a decade but I assume you wouldn't be starting frm scratch.

I don't know anything about local exams but I would be interested as well if it gets organized.
ooops, I see I suck at making links, try again:

What's the local beer in Somalia?
Nearly fell off my chair when I read your comment Sean. Bloody hilarious.
