Guys quite often I sit idley by and take in what is said about the "BIG BAD MAN" but I can categorically say that the safety of people is No.1. Nothing happens unless our people are safe and the way our warehouses are run comes under this. What happened tore down whole buildings so pallets stacked 3-4 high didn't have much of a chance. Say whay you will about the beer but all workers are looked after as much as they can be and there well fare is no.1.
I wasn't having a crack at you fellas Andrew - I was just making a comment based on the video footage. Unless the pallets are interlocking (like the schultz type containers we use at the port) it's not a good idea to go any higher that 3... that's just our practice anyhow.
Yeah if there is a BIG BAD MAN, he is a Dutch based brewer who's 'craft beer' consistantly gives me a crook guts while he trademarks generic styles. Lion at least still makes (some) good beer.
And how are our Christchurch members faring? No doubt a few brew days have been interupted/postponed. Hopefully no damage to their homes and brewsheds?
