Advice on getting grapefruit rather than tropical from riwaka

Hi guys,

 

I'm about to use riwaka for the first time in a simple APA, and I want my hop flavour/aroma to come out more on the grapefruit side of the spectrum than the tropical fruit salad thing that I have heard riwaka can bring. Does anyone know whether this is possible to achieve by hopping at certain points in the boil, or does it depend more on the season etc.

NZ cascade if you're after grapefruit bro...
I have done a Riwaka/NZ Cascade combo on an american amber, and quite like the combo.
