Mesh!
Looking for some 30 mesh to make a hop strainer for my boiler. Spoke to a guy in AK who wanted $89+GST and delivery for a 1m2 piece...seemed more than a bit expensive to me!
Any advice gratefully received. My plan is to make one of these fellas. strainer clicky

I'm beginning to think hop bag here too Martin.
I bought one of the 'hopsocks' from craftbrewer some years ago when I thought it would help me steeping grains - which it didn't. I used it as an experiement a month or two back, used it for pellets in a brown coloured ale, standard repeated recipe, turned out just the same as ever - plus no hop pellet sludge afterstuffy in the kettle

Yup, and a few metres of Swiss voile from Spotlight ain't worth nothin.
If you or the missus can sew make a custom bag with the above as big as possible without touching the bottom. Choice as bro.
