Event Description
They said it couldn’t be done, that it would be undrinkable, that we couldn’t use more than 5% heavy peated malt in a beer. So we carefully considered their advice and decided to try 100% instead.
Rex Attitude is inspired by French techno and the whisky of Scotland’s west coast. Like the ’Auld Alliance’ it combines a little Scottish rogue with a dose of French je ne sais quoi. It is, as far as we know, the world’s first beer made from 100% heavy peated distilling malt.
To borrow (and twist) the phrase of a little known Australian beer geek: "I like whisky and I like beer... this beer is gonna save me a lot of time at the bar!"

Getting some haggis in at 2pm.... this is the real stuff, served in a sheep stomach, so you'll need to be brave to try both the beer AND the haggis.

Hey Bro loved the Rex Attitude and Rex had some attiude too , really enjoyed the tasting today Im sharing my 3 bottles with the boys tonight at dinner Manuka braised wild pork ,deep fired Cinnamon Kumara balls and a watercress salad and a PKB choco cake for later on.
