Bought a stainless steel container at a garage sale. Got a mate to weld in some fittings on the top and then weld the top on. Added a couple of spare firestone posts and a tube to the bottom and hey presto, a 2 litre line cleaner.

Stainless steel vessel - Second hand stall at the Sanson Market = $10

Inlet and outlet - Spare 1/2" BSP stainless socket from parts drawer = approx $3.50

Outlet dip tube - Piece of spare ss tube from scrap bin = $0.00

Fill cap tube and plug - old ss tee from scrap bin = $0.00

Inlet and outlet posts - I bought a job lot of these a while back approx. = $10.00

Welding - 2 bottles of Tui at the pub. 1 for the guy who organised it and 1 for the welder = $15.00

So total cost all up = $38.50 :-)
