That looks the part! Do you have any aluminium left? My angled feeder has about 5mm for the grain to bounce back under the hopper housing....

Yes mate..Almost used half exactly of the long sheet..You can have the rest if you need it..I only ended up dropping it over the edge a little as the length for each bit was almost perfect from the bit of sheet I cut..Otherwise I would have used up a whole sheet with load of wastage..Mine also has a gap but generally the grain gets ripped downwards through the knurls..My 18v drill doesn;t even look at it and the 400w electric jobby thats 10 years old runs at around 1000 rpm and rips the husks..Time for a cheapo corded drill

My drill won't budge, and my corded drill has disappeared. I'm thinking of a motor now, as I want to gear it down to a couple hundred rpm at the rollers.. hmmm more toys...
