I'll start off with 45 IBUs and move on up. I don't expect to have a tongue after all of this.

Amusing label on the side of the Lagunitas IPA -
"This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hyrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulitium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. That about it. Now stop. OK, go again. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you're on".

Tastes bloody good too.

Hop Stoopid was a piece of cake to drink - not quite as astringent as I thought it would be. Tempted to given the other 100+ IBU beer a go too.

Conference will be geeky and boring. Obviously all hinges on the after conf environment, and whether there are any decent craft beer bars in San Jose - http://www.yelp.com/topic/san-jose-craft-beer-bars-in-san-jose In Palo Alto for another night before heading down there.

Saved the best till last - Green Flash IIPA. Wow! It's like stuffing your entire body into a vacuum packed bag of hops. This is a class act - if this ever gets onto beerstore, y'all should order a boat load of it.
