Three months later. I think the Smoothcone wasn't getting enough water for a while because the growth seems to stop for a couple of weeks. Has come right now.

 

The mystery old variety seems to be growing faster and faster. It over took the two more mature plants about a month ago.

Yeah has gone really well considering they are all in pots that are probably too small. I've since given up trying to keep them inside the glasshouse.

 

Currently handling out smooth cone cuttings to workmates so I might end up with quite a crop next year.
