Where to order grain etc best online shop

I find Liberty to be a good supplier for the grain etc, but Jo does not have yeast you are after.

Some others.

Brewshop.co.nz - has White Labs yeast = general supplies

Thebrewhouse.co.nz has wyeast + general supplies

If you google there are a number of others around like Brewers Coop (ringing them can be the best way to place your order)

You can probably use koppafloc instead of protofloc and you might find that you have to substitute a few things here in NZ as we are not always able to get the range that American or European brewers can. For example if you cannot find the WY-2278 then there is probably a White Labs yeast that is very similar that another shop might have. If you are having trouble finding a substitute then feel free to ask here as there are some very experienced people here willing to pass their knowledge of what works along.

Thanks for the info , yes $19 for the yeast really is expensive I need Chech pilsner wy-2278
And Munich larger wy-2308 equivalent .

Also was wondering , I've converted from bottles to 2x19l kegs I use to use carbonation drops , what do I know use for each keg and how much?

Personally I found carbonation drops to be a waste of money ( for bottles I use a sugar measure, some people bulk prime in a separate vessel for bottles)

But for kegs there's no need to prime you can use your CO2 tank to carbonate your beer

I have heard of some people priming their kegs though

Yea, $19 for a single batch sure is on the pricy side.
But if you get into yeast harvesting you can reuse it several, or many times depending on your methods and techniques.

Are you going to prime the kegs rather than carbonate with the co2?
Beersmith and Promash and probably other brew programs will tell you how much priming sugar to use, depending on the level of carbonation you want. Check them out

I think I'm going to prime the kegs because I'm only running a soda stream bottle and I don't think that will be enough to carbonate two 19l kegs , I'm just a newbie so not to sure .

I've got my whole order with brew shop but they don't have the test I'm after, the brewhouse does though , I'm just wanting to stick with my recepie my first time around , to make the dopplebock and the bohemian pilsner for everything adds up pretty quick I'm at $115 for everything, just can't find the larger malt on the brew shop website.
