I really enjoy Brew Day but as it only comes about every 2 to 4 weeks I have to wait for either my beer to be ready to bottle so I can do another or wait till I have some money to do another, and the waiting is so long. I entertain myself with either coming up with a new recipe to use write it out then print it out with Brewer's Friend, and I like to build equipment like my new Stainless Steel Mash Tun that's coming this week.... (it's still just a pot at the moment) So how do you fill in your time between brewing?

So how do you fill in your time between brewing?

Drinking the previous ones.

Brewed a 25L Special Bitter last Saturday and managed to bottle a 25L Saison in 500ml bottles while the mash and first part of the boil were underway.  Prewashed and sanitised the bottles before hand, but it went well considering it was the first time I'd done that and there was no down time.

Actually, just reread yr post Daza and realised you meant between brew days, not on brew day. Doh! Like you I'm trying to make my brew days easier. Latest improvement was to wire in timers so as the hlt and pump bring the water and mash tun up to temp for mashin first thing before breakfast. Makes brewday done by lunchtime. Cheers

Haha. yeah thought was odd? hey that's the go on your timer eh, I'm usually cleaning up around 3 or 4pm on Brew day. I was thinking now I have a Stainless pot coming to convert to a mash tun, whether I should consider the whole 3 vessel thing with a 3rd Stainless pot for a HLT? only thing stopping me is the thought of if I end up...upgrading all my pots to bigger ones in the next 2 years....gotta plan for the future eh :-)
