I Have been chatting to a couple of homebrewers in the New Mexico, and Florida about doing a beer swap.  So far the cheapest postage I have found is $25 for 1kg that will be delivered within 3-5 days.
Has anyone sent homebrews to US before, and if so are there any hidden glitches.

These beers will be featured on http://bit.ly/time4homebrew when they arrive

A 750ml bottle made it safely to new Mexico this week, it only took 3 weeks and cost $37 to post
40 bucks for 1 bottle of beer! I love the enthusiasm for sharing beers but I reckon I'd be keeping it local at that price. Any reason you're looking so far afield for a home brew swap Paul? Get yourself involved in the next forum case swap mate, the last one was awesome!
Manly wanted to see how well it would travel, and to get an international brew to review on my YouTube channel.
Really keen for the forum case swap, will keep an eye out for it.

After as many different homebrews as possible for reviewing on YouTube
Fair enough. I've tried to start up a Wellington mini case swap a couple of times but it never seems to take off. I might try again, see if we can get half a dozen involved to tide us over until the main one comes around again.
I would be keen to help you out with the wellington case swap.
now have the video review up, on the beer that was sent to New Mexico
