New book: Adventures in Beer
Hello there.
I would like to publicise the availability of my recently published book, Adventures in Beer (The search for a half-decent pint in New Zealand) which can now be purchased by mail-order, via cordwainerbull@gmail.com at a cost of $32 (incl p&p)
It is based on columns written over a 13-year period, and mirroring my own beer-taste discovery (and prejudices). The book variously defends beer, attacks it, and acknowledges its status as our finest social lubricant, while at the same time occasionally ridiculing our lack of culture in consuming it and exposing the trashy products and dreadful promotions that pockmark our beer-drinking landscape.
212 pages, crown quarto size. 2011.
