Hi all, I want some apple juice concentrate to back sweeten a cider I have sitting around here. Anyone know where I might be able to find some?

Something with a nice flavour would be good, but the sweetening ability is more important.

I watched a video just the other day that recommended freezing about 2 litres of store bought applejuice, and then inverting it into a container. As it melts the majority of the water content of the juice is left behind, and the drips caught in the container apparently make a pretty decent juice concentrate.

Might be worth a try if you can't find what your looking for.

You could try one of the Blackrock Cider kits, I think all they are is concentrate.

Ooh. I had not thought of that. Thanks for the suggestion. Most kits have some unfermentable sort of sugar added, but Black Rock appears to be simply apple juice conc.
