A great beer. I really just was dying to see the discussion title up there in big letters !
Getting that amount of malt body and the huge hop balance is a hard ask. And I'm looking forward to the next bottle of R&D this weekend.....

I'm sorry you are so underwhelmed by the Epic Armageddon IPA, I expect you must have got a bottle of batch one. Guess you will need to hunt down another case, this time of batch 2.

Keep seeking perfection in batch 2 you'll get no arguement from me....although how the kettle, hopback and fermenter will cope with more hops I daren't ask! :-) LOL

The big resiny mouthfeel is a stunner. I can't see where the Epic Pale fits into your portfolio now that you've popped this one out of the 'barrel'. Cos I aint going back to it when this monster is lurking on the bar fridge shelf alongside Epic Pale. And why did you call it Armageddon? Its not the end of days by far - I know you got more hops to come - Batch 1 is a pussy compared to where I think you might be heading. ;-)

And I aint sure my budget will stretch to another case so quickly......thats probably the biggest problem

Such a lazy brewer too is Luke- I've got some batch 2 and he didnt even bother to filter or pasturise it Geez.... some people!
