So Mr Cherry, what improper beers have you been brewing ?
A crystal malt only porter and a kit based champagne beer.
Yeah, this is my attempt to make up for the weizenbock that turned into an accidental sour beer (hmm... I may enter that anyway. Sour Imperial Hefe anyone? :)

The only problem is that a beer like this will take more than 6 weeks to be genuinely ready. I reckon it'll still be pretty harsh come May 16.

I may also brew up a second, somewhat lighter brew for WnBC this weekend, and just bring along whichever is drinking better in a month and a half.
I'd planned on a brew this weekend, but my hip's giving me jip.
I was going to do the Mot Brown grain bill with the hops from the last pale
83.5% malteurop
6% Munich 1
6% Pale Crystal
3% Dark Cystal
1.5% Chocolate
1.040 with '05
13 IBU Super Alpha to bitter, hallertau @ 30 & 15 then Cascade & Motueka @ 1 and dry hop
Favourite grain bill with favourite hops, wondering why I haven't done it before ?
Just hope I get this hip sorted so I can
Your kids should know how to brew by now. You need to delegate.
It'd probably end up with one of them dunking the other in the kettle ...
You want the London Ale yeast for this? It's just started to puff... ;-)
Alright, I'm keen for you not to give up on a 6 month old smack pack - thanks but I'm not sure what I'll be able to do this weekend - sprained hip, no rotation, no strain, on the right leg.
Get a pump!
I'm going to 'pump' some beer tonight. Won't make Brewjolais so a few at home.
If I take care I might be right for Monday ....
I took care and I'm right for Sunday.
All mashed in, sparge water heating, looking out for Easter treats as I go ...
Thats good news, jt. I put a brew down yesterday too - I'm needing to get my stocks back up.
