After thinking of the Blonde ales possibly being ready for tasting ANZAC weekend, there was a thought about an ANZAC weekend brew.

Anyone got any good suggestions for a traditional Kiwi Beer to brew ?

Is a New Zealand Draught or Lager really our traditional beer of the recent past - I wouldn't want to brew it as it's presented to us by the hectolitre this days, but it's got me thinking.

Whattaya reckon ?

Did a brew a few weeks back using NZ Canterbury malt (from Marton) (the answer to the discussion at Provedore on NZ malts), NZ Hallertau and lots of SazzB. 2112 yeast in 1 fermenter & S05 in the other.

The SazzB and the 2112 produced a beer that needed a padlock on the fermenter,

Probably not traditional, however I'm sure a few ol' soldiers would be partial to this (should have been brewed Feb 6) drop.
