Hello Beer lovers,

My husband and I are huge fans of Belgian beers and are pretty frustrated with the lack of diversity available here in New Zealand.
We are pondering the idea of importing a great range of high quality Belgian beers and selling them online.
We don't really know though if the demand here would feed this activity.
What do you guys think of the idea?

Don't you reckon an online shop offering a wide range of Belgian beers here in New Zealand is just what New Zealanders have been waiting for?

We'd love to hear your opinion and are looking forward to reading your feedback!

Hi Greig,

This is something we will look into in 2009... We need to establish if there is a market for what we are doing first before we do something like this.

If everything goes to plan, ultimately we would like to do this.

Even if you bought in some fairly regular APA's like Sierra Nevada or Anchor? I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with them! It's ironic, NZ is becoming increasingly addicted to the APA style of beer and yet it's almost impossible to find an APA from the original source in NZ!
