Doing business with the UK from New Zealand

Interesting to see from various different items in the news lately how Britain is very rapidly re-accessing it's relationship with NZ, this I think is due to the UK is turning to Asia pacific as the new hot zone of economics and politics, and appears to be eyeing up NZ (traditionally it's most loyal colony) as it's main regional foothold esp as Aussie is now the defacto American vassal state.
