About Me:
I was a home brewer for a few years but work brought me to Germany. I had to give up all my equipment since I'd be living there for a year in an apartment and (what I thought) no space to brew. However, even though I realized I had space to brew there was no way I could bring my equipment. Nevertheless, I was in the epicenter of a country with some outstanding brews. Though the local brews were amazing, they lacked the great diversity I had in the states. As many know, with the Reinheitsgebot (and later updated version), there are very few ingredients that are allowed in their brews. I have hopes of one day achieving my BJCP certification. The next adventure is off to New Zealand for a few years and I'm excited to see what the Kiwis can offer and hope that I can (even if it's just extract for the time being) get back into my passion for brewing!
