Is that a plastic Kettle?

It doesn't sound right when you say it - plastic kettle
But yes it is, one of the Ritchies boilers
Toast brought it all his kit out from the UK with him.
I went and oogled out at the brilliant view from his garage on Sunday while brewing
There's a few more pic's to post up sometime soon.
Hmm, good bacon too

I thought about it ages ago - but didn't think it would hold up to the heat - this proves me well in the wrong. Good stuff!

Yeah it was a nice day, aye (to use the Kiwi parlance)
We rented the property for 6 months only. The view's to die for and it is a great house to brew in.
Most people in the UK start with a plastic boiler. Many adapt a thermo box from nordic-optical on ebay, buy a couple of cheap kettles from Tescos and make a kick ass kettle. That was my plan, but here I am in NZ with my old plastic kettle. Works fine!

the important thing is to use a thermoset plastic for your kettle. Great hilarity and heavy scalding results otherwise...
